You will not believe how great this shake is. Once trying this shake, you will never want the dairy version again. Goji berries are included to boost the nutritional value of this shake.
Super Chocolate Shake by Chef Joi
2 Large Bananas, frozen
¼ c Almonds
2 T Agave Nectar
1 T Goji Berries, ground
Pinch of Sea Salt
1 c Ice
1/3 to ½ c Water
1 ½ T Cacao Powder
Select ripe bananas or allow your bananas to ripen before freezing them. Peel the bananas and break into fourths. Smaller pieces reduce the strain on your blender or processor. The bananas need to freeze for at least 18 hours to insure that you achieve a creamy texture.
When grinding the goji berries, be ready to scrap down the sides. It’s best to grind them in small batches.
Place all ingredients in a blender or food processor starting with 1/3 cup water. Blend until smooth. You may need to add more water to achieve the desired consistency. En-Joi
